Full Frame-Off Restoration

A full restoration puts a car in the same condition as when it was new. This process includes not only repair of the parts that can be seen – the body, the trim, the chrome, the wheels, the dash board and interior – but also the parts that are not necessarily visible including the driveline, engine compartment, suspension, trunk, frame, brakes, cooling system, and electrical system.

Body Work

The body will be media blasted to bare metal when necessary.  Issues such as rust, damage, misalignment and improper gapping of doors are thoroughly repaired and meticulously refinished.   We can customize any auto body to suit your preference by chopping tops, shaving handles, frenching tail lights. From all-out kustoms and mild street rods to transforming 4 doors into 2 doors.

After the body is straight, priming and block-sanding will perfect the body in preparation for applying the long-lasting high gloss finish coats.  When the paint is ready, wet-sanding and polishing will ensure the finish coat’s brilliant luster for outstanding showmanship.

Chassis

The chassis components will be rebuilt, upgraded, customized.

Interior

Full custom or full stock interiors upon request.

Planning your car’s restoration

During our first meeting, we’ll discuss the goals and desires for your project. Whether you desire a daily driver, combination show and drive, or a pure show quality vehicle we’ll assess the project and work with you to develop a detailed plan and time-frame.

Restorations are all about conscientious research and meticulous craftsmanship, so the work on your car may take anywhere from a few months to over a year.  You will always know the current status of your restoration with regular progress reports. So please be patient, because the end result will be well worth the wait!

Fabrication is an important part of a full restoration when correct replacement parts are not available. For Resto Mods and Hot Rods fabrication is the norm. Almost every project will require fabrication of mounts, brackets, or other parts to allow for the proper assembly and provide that custom look and feel.

1.  We work on a Time + Materials basis, as is the case with any reputable restoration shop. Please call for our current rates. Any parts that are required are additional. We will research multiple suppliers, when possible, to ensure the best quality for the best price.

2.  We want you to realize that due to the many unknown and unforeseen repairs on your restoration project there is NO good way to estimate the costs involved or amount of time a project will take without first disassembling the vehicle. We do not give firm estimates! No two builds are the same, even if the vehicle seems identical. There may be the need for original or custom parts that weren’t needed in the previous build. What we will do is first disassemble the project completely. This would entail removal of all body parts, chrome, suspension, interior, and possibly sandblasting to remove paint. Doing this gives us a better idea of what needs to be done. This way we both have an idea of the direction the project will take. With collector cars the sky is the limit to how far your project can go, what we will do is make recommendations and then take the project in the direction you wish to go

3.  We will maintain close contact with you during the build of your project. You will get bi-weekly or monthly  updates which break down labor hours, materials, and parts. We will also take photographs of each phase of your build. Those photos are available to our customers via Facebook or email.

4. We do require an initial deposit to start work on your project. Deposit will be determined by type of build desired, full restoration, custom paint only, repairs etc.  We will work with you to get a payment plan in place that works with your budget.
